Isabelle formed the concept
for metascan based on her experience in a MRI research department and her realization that not every MRI department has access to the latest research results. A University of London PhD in
Medical Physics, Isabelle is committed to finding useful ways to bring state-of-the-art DCE MRI techniques to daily practice. In addition to formulating metascan services, she synthesizes
material on the latest developments in DCE MRI in overview documents for radiologists and others interested.
Isabelle worked on DCE MRI, 1995 - 2001, at the Institute
of Cancer Research (ICR) and the Royal Marsden Hospital,
Sutton, UK. She won a prize at the annual ICR conference
in Cambridge, UK, 1998 and a young investigator award
at the "MRI in cancer" workshop of the International
Society of MR in Medicine (ISMRM) in St. Louis, USA,
1998. From 2002 until the summer of 2005, Isabelle joined
the medical physics team at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology
Centre in Nicosia, where she led several efforts to
improve the department's workflow and increase quality
of care. She is a certified medical physicist in oncology
(ABR). |
